President’s Message
This is my last President’s Message as I am stepping down from the podium and handing the gavel to my new President, Roberta Kates. These past couple years have certainly been gratifying and a great learning experience for me. I wish to THANK everyone for their support and guidance over the past couple years, as I certainly needed it many times. I have found that you cannot do the work alone. EVERYONE needs to be part of the team. Support your upcoming Executive Board for the coming year. I know that they will do a GREAT job but they look for your help!
Your Executive Officers for 2009-2010 are as follows: President: Roberta Kates; President-Elect: Michelle Grace; Treasurer: Judy Bell; Secretary: Donna Kersman. Board Members: Linda Braun, Carol DiJoseph-Focht and Kathy Kirby. Thank them for their time and energy that will keep our local NAIW Lehigh Valley growing for the coming year!
My last event of the year will be our Picnic, which will be held on June 16, 2009 at Putt U, Route 309, and Center Valley. The meat, drinks and paper products will be provided. You will need to bring the salads, desserts, etc. This year the alphabet was divided as to who should bring what. Please check your invitation for the list of items to bring as they are listed. If you haven’t responded or haven’t received an invitation please contact Anna Mae Schultz or myself either via email or by phone. Please bring any prospective members to our picnic. We would enjoy spending time with them. This is a great evening to socialize and see who the competitive golfer is!!
I wish everyone a safe and happy summer! If I don’t see you at the picnic this month I hope to see you at our Dinner meetings throughout the year!
